Viagra is known as a drug that treats the symptoms of erectile dysfunction, which some time ago was commonly called impotence. However, not all men know exactly in which cases it is possible, and in which it is pointless or even harmful to take this medicine. In this article, we will try to shed light on these issues.

It should be noted that Viagra and all its generics are effective against erectile dysfunction (ED) of both physiological and psychological etiology. This is very important, since more than 60% of cases of this disease are either of physiological origin or of mixed nature.

As for those cases when Viagra is useless, then first of all hormonal problems belong to them. Disruptions in the hormonal level of a man can negatively affect libido, while drugs based on Sildenafil will not be a way out of the situation, because they do not affect this parameter of the male body. If the cause of potency problems lies in hormonal disorders, treatment by an endocrinologist with completely different drugs is necessary.
