Health and Safety Instructor
Health & Safety Instructor Job Code: C320 Dept: Health & Safety Services
(3) Per Diem /“On Call” Non-Exempt

The Central Maryland Chapter of the American Red Cross is seeking committed and reliable Health and Safety Instructors to teach Red Cross certified CPR and First Aid courses in Baltimore City and the surrounding counties. Training will be provided.

Required: Qualified candidate will possess a High School diploma; valid MD license with own transportation, teaching abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to lift 25 lbs. to the waist. Incumbent must be reliable and accountable in availability and fulfilling teaching commitments. One year previous teaching or training experience (school teacher, training specialist or previous Red Cross instructor) is necessary. Flexible schedule is needed; instructors will be teaching during the day, occasional weekends and evenings on a per diem basis.

Desired: AA degree or higher and current Red Cross instructor is preferred.

Hiring Range: $12.28 - $13.82 Salary Grade: 03
