Run for the Red in the Baltimore Marathon! Saturday, October 16, 2010 8:00 AM

WALK OR RUN: Day of Service and Remembrance of 9/11. Join us to commemorate the heroes and families who were affected by the tragic events on 9/11 by running with the American Red Cross of Central Maryland in a peaceful walk/run event hosted by the Johns Hopkins University Red Cross Corps.
Tour the Red Cross and go behind the scenes to learn about our services to the military, Holocaust and war victims tracing, and other programs you've probably never heard. Youth Community Disaster Education Presentation - Teaches students (elementary-college level) the five steps in preparing for an emergency disaster—make a plan, build a kit, get trained, volunteer, give blood. Students receive interactive presentations led by Red Cross volunteers and participate in disaster-related activities. See dates and times (PDF).
