The Central Maryland Chapter touches hundreds of lives every day. Our mission is to help people prevent, prepare for, and cope with emergencies.

We are proud of the wide range of services that we provide to our community:

  • Disaster Assistance to help victims of fires, storms, and other disasters  More information

  • Provision of Safe Blood and Blood Products to more than 60 area hospitals for cancer patients, accident victims, and others in need 1-800-GIVE LIFE
  • Services to Armed Forces Emergency communications and assistance to members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families More information
  • International Tracing Services to connect people who have lost touch with family members due to war, natural disasters, and other calamities
  • Teach Lifesaving Skills and certify people in CPR, first aid, lifeguarding and other health and safety courses Schedule of classes
