A Snapshot of Your Day

The Piping and Layout Planning Group is part of the GCO R&D Engineering organization based in Orlando and globally. The 3D Designer function is responsible for creating product layouts and baselines to support customer projects. This includes 3D modelling, 2D drawing creation, based on engineering requirements!

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Build, revise and maintain Piping/Equipment models using Bentley Open Plant Environment
• Handle complex drafting assignments under minimal direction
• Build Piping and Structural Drawings using 3D models
• Understand and incorporate engineers redlines
• Build equipment layout drawings using 3D models
• Develop and revise as needed various foundation drawings

What You Bring

• Associates in Drafting and Design or related field required
• 2+ years of professional experience using Bentley OpenPlant for 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation
• Familiarity with gas turbine power plant design and layout
• Experience generating piping assembly drawings and isometrics
• Familiar with drafting standards, symbols, nomenclature, engineering terms, accurate use of materials, reference books and catalogs

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
