Accountant-Part Time-Two Days a Month-Pediatric Home Healthcare

Our mission is providing pediatric home healthcare nursing services to medically complex children. After many years with the company, we have a position open due to the retirement of a valuable, long-term key member of our team.

We are looking for a seasoned individual to work approximately 16 hours or two days a month on site at our offices in Sewickley, Pa.

This is a department of two people operating in a small, nimble corporate team of approximately twenty key people serving approximately 200 field staff. Most of the work in this position is done in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel. The soft skills that are important to us are attention to detail, reliability, flexibility, can-do attitude, the ability to work in a team and professionalism.

Main responsibilities:

• Reconciliation of accounts receivable and other GL accounts as required.


• Bank Reconciliations


• Completion of monthly and year-end closing

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).


• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.


• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting.


• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.


• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.


• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.


• Easy commute of 30 minutes or less to our offices in Sewickley
