Job Title: Acupuncturist

Reports to: Wellness specialist

Summary: CNY Fertility is a leading fertility clinic dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals and couples navigating their fertility journey. We focus on a holistic approach, integrating advanced fertility treatments with complementary therapies such as acupuncture. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our team as an independent contractor to provide acupuncture services specifically for fertility support.

Required Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Conduct initial consultations to assess clients' health history, concerns, and fertility goals.
2. Develop personalized acupuncture treatment plans to support reproductive health and improve fertility outcomes.
3. Administer acupuncture treatments to address fertility-related issues, balancing the reproductive system and improving blood flow.
4. Work closely with fertility specialists and other healthcare providers to create integrative care plans.
5. Provide guidance on lifestyle changes, nutrition, and stress management to enhance acupuncture benefits.
6. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with CNY Fertility’s protocols.
7. Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture throughout the fertility treatment process, including IVF, IUI, and natural conception

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

1. Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) with current state certification.
2. Strong background or interest in fertility acupuncture, with a deep understanding of its benefits for reproductive health.
3. Expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine and its application to fertility support.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the CNY Fertility team.
• Flexibility to manage patient appointments and treatment schedules.

Weekend and holiday rotation is required.
