This position is with the Office of Administration Division of Facilities Management, Design, and Construction (OA-FMDC) supporting the Administrative Services Unit. • Prioritize excellent customer service for a wide and diverse network of internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to internal teams, state agencies, state officials, contractors, and the public.
• Prioritize and execute a variety of clerical, administrative, and office-related tasks.
• Establish and maintain filing and record systems utilizing a variety of software applications such as Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, SharePoint, Smartsheet, shared drives, and others.
• Draft, edit and proofread a variety of documents including but not limited to procedures, guidelines, newsletters, and other communications.
• Serve as a liaison for a variety of support related functions including greeting visitors, answering phones, coordinating deliveries and events.
• Provide general support of divisional programs such as the preparation of records for storage and/or archiving, printing and preparing materials for events and meetings, coordinating meetings, and managing follow up action items.
• Operate under general supervision to carry out assigned responsibilities independently within established guidelines and procedures.
• Occasionally travel to other facilities to deliver equipment, supplies, uniforms, and other materials.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Ability to communicate, collaborate, and operate with integrity in a manner that inspires trust and builds positive rapport with a diverse group of stakeholders and the public.
• Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and planning capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize and execute work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent attendance, work ethic, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license from Missouri or from an adjacent state if you reside outside of Missouri.

• This position is in an office environment and job duties may include prolonged periods of seated work at a desk, typing, written and verbal communication, problem solving, and the occasional ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. This list is not all inclusive, but a general representation of duties that may be encountered in this position; however, other duties may be assigned contingent upon business needs. Please note, this position is considered a “Category 2” under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), meaning the incumbent will be compensated for overtime (hours actually worked over forty hours in a workweek) at the rate of time and one-half.
