Our client is looking Android Developer for Long term project in Plano, TX below is the detailed requirements.

Job Title : Android Developer

Location : Plano, TX

Duration : Contract

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java
• Support and contribute to iOS development using Swift or Objective-C as needed
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and fix bugs; improve application performance
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Participate in code reviews and team knowledge sharing

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Android development
• Proficient with Kotlin and/or Java
• Working knowledge of iOS development (Swift and/or Objective-C)
• Familiarity with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Understanding of RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Firebase, etc.)
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Version control experience with Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Cross-platform mobile development experience (e.g., Flutter, React Native)
• Knowledge of CI/CD for mobile apps
• Experience in publishing apps on the Play Store and App Store
