As we expand, our owner is looking for a reliable, entrepreneurial Artisan Food Production Manager to lead all production operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role — ideal for someone who loves both baking and managing. You’ll oversee daily production to ensure every batch meets our high quality standards while keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently. Reporting directly to the owner, you’ll play a key role in scaling the business, refining processes, and driving growth. Duties Lead and participate in daily food production — mixing, baking, assembling, and packaging products. Oversee production schedules, staffing, and workflow to meet deadlines and order volume. Operate and maintain production equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor inventory of ingredients, packaging, and supplies; coordinate restocking as needed. Enforce food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards in compliance with health regulations. Train, coach, and motivate production team members for consistency and excellence. Identify process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste. Collaborate with the owner on product innovation, scaling strategies, and operational planning. Requirements 2+ years of experience in food production. Strong understanding of small‑batch or artisan‑style production using both manual and mechanical processes. Supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance practices. Comfortable working with and training others on production equipment. Dependable, proactive, and adaptable to a fast‑paced environment. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
