Job Description
As a Barista/Bistro Server, you’ll be at the heart of our hospitality experience, preparing coffee and café offerings and providing table service with warmth and efficiency. You’ll help ensure our Bistro is clean, inviting, and ready to exceed resident expectations every day.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents with friendliness and professionalism
- Take orders, prepare and serve specialty coffee, beverages, and light meals
- Assist in Bistro setup, stocking, and cleanliness before and after service
- Deliver meals or beverages to resident apartments when requested
- Use excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely service
- Assist in seating, order-taking, and resolving any service concerns with care
- Support overall dining operations including light prep, dish washing, and cleanup as needed
- Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed
Qualifications
- Food Handler’s Permit required (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Experience in hospitality, dining, and coffee service - minimum 1 year
- Must love working within a community of various generations and be a great team player
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
