Key Responsibilities

Support data engineers in building and maintaining data pipelines for ETL processes.

Assist with data cleaning, transformation, and validation tasks.

Learn and use tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive to process and analyze data.

Help monitor scheduled data workflows and troubleshoot basic issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business data needs.

Contribute to internal documentation and team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree (or in final year) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Familiarity with SQL and basic Python programming.

Knowledge of data structures, basic algorithms, and database concepts.

Willingness to learn big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.

Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and team spirit.

Preferred Qualifications

Internship experience in a data-related role.

Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) or workflow tools (e.g., Airflow).

Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line environments.

Salary Range: $100,000 - 110,000
