Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive with extensive experience in professional services. This role is instrumental in driving revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, while strengthening relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate brings a strong network, strategic mindset, and consultative sales approach tailored to the nuances of professional services.

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the Continental United States with flexible hours.

IMPORTANT: This is a commission-based position with a tiered structure and aggressive commission percentages. There is no exception. Professional services sales and existing relationships will be an important component of success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry intelligence.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, partners, and procurement teams.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (partners, consultants, marketing, and service delivery) to craft tailored proposals and pitches.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, pipeline development, and client feedback to inform future strategy.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the firms offerings and differentiators, articulating value propositions effectively to prospects.
  • Contribute to RFP responses, client presentations, and negotiations with a strategic and client-centric focus.

Qualifications

  • 57+ years of business development or sales experience within professional services (e.g., legal, accounting, consulting, financial services).
  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing high-value engagements and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles, particularly within complex, relationship-driven environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and pipeline management best practices.
  • Must be a United States Citizen to be considered for the role.
