Certified Respiratory Therapist | Full-Time | Nights | Hudson, FL

Location: Hudson, FL
Schedule: Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation:

• CRT: $24.63 - $34.48 per hour (Based on Experience)
• RRT: $27.09 - $37.92 per hour (Based on Experience)
• Sign-On Bonus:
  • $10,000 for FT Days (1+ year of experience, 2-year commitment)
  • $20,000 for FT Nights (1+ year of experience, 2-year commitment)
• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

Position Overview

Join a leading acute care hospital as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and play a vital role in delivering advanced respiratory care. You will evaluate patients' respiratory needs , develop and implement treatment plans , and operate acute care ventilators to support short and long-term mechanical ventilation .

Key Responsibilities

✔ Ventilator Management – Operate and monitor acute care ventilators for continuous patient support.
✔ Respiratory Therapy – Administer all routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures across all age groups .
✔ Patient Care Coordination – Develop and implement individualized Respiratory Care Plans .
✔ Clinical Documentation – Maintain accurate records and enter essential therapy data into the hospital system .
✔ Departmental Leadership – Act as a self-directed team member in the absence of the full-time Team Leader .

Qualifications

🔹 Education: Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program (Associate’s Degree) ; Bachelor’s Degree preferred .
🔹 Licensure: Current Florida CRT License .
🔹 Certifications:

• BLS (Required) – American Heart Association
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP (Required within 6 months of hire)
  🔹 Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and patient movement.
