  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Internship or co-op experience in energy, utilities, or process industries preferred.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications – Senior Chemical Engineer

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (Master’s preferred) or Professional Engineer (PE) license in Chemical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in process design, plant operations, or energy systems.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards (ASME, API, ASTM, NFPA, EPA) and environmental permitting requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in process optimization, performance testing, and project execution.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and manage cross-functional project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with power generation, petrochemical, or utility-scale process systems.
  • Proficiency in Aspen Plus, HYSYS, ChemCAD, or other process simulation tools.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Montana (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
