The Clinical Nutrition Manager I is responsible for managing the clinical nutrition program at Brattleboro Retreat, a behavioral health facility. Sodexo is seeking a  Registered Dietitian  for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Brattleboro Retreat, a 110-bed behavioral health facility located in the bucolic New England town of  Brattleboro, VT. The Brattleboro Retreat provides specialized diagnosis and treatment services for adults, adolescents, and children suffering from a wide range of psychiatric and addiction challenges, including eating disorders. Brattleboro is located in Southern Vermont, approximately 20 miles southwest of Keene, NH and 35 miles North of Northampton, MA. 

 

Option to work a hybrid schedule - up to two remote days per week

Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually

What You'll Do:
  • provide day-to-day management of the clinical nutrition program;
  • offer compassionate care to patients spanning the life cycle – child, adolescent and adult - that aligns with their psychiatric, addiction and/or eating disorder treatment;
  • train, mentor and supervise one dietitian and one diet tech;
  • support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects;
  • provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals;
  • collaborate with the food service operations team regarding meal provision and menu management; 
  • precept nutrition students and dietetic interns; and
  • ensure DOH/State/Federal and company standards are being upheld.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
