Specialty: Women’s Health-OB/GYN – Medical Group

Care/Position Type: Registered Nurse

• About Facility:
• 945b North 12th Street (1st floor) next to Sinai ED
• Unit Information:
• Census? 70-100/day
• Beds: 18 exams room (residency clinic)
• Minimum Years of Experience required? At least 1 year, preference in women’s health, post partum/LD/women’s health clinic experience
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, only if they’ve had one year of experience in women’s health
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
• Pregnancy, menopause, procedures (IUD insertion/removal), biopsies, colposcopies, women’s health
• Patient Ratios:
• Team model: RN, 2 MDs, MA and PSR
• Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
• BLS
• Skills required:
• Triage experience (not required), strong communicator, multitasker, organized, team player, and open to learning new skills.
• Take basic vitals, administer injections, manage messages and medication refills, and assist with medical devices.
• Support within the Department:
• MA
• Social Worker
• Supervisor
• Manager
• Clinic director
• Total RN 4-6/shift
• Technology/Equipment:
• EMR: Epic (highly preferred)
• Med dispensing: Pyxis
• Microsoft teams/outlook
• NST testing machine
• Floating: If yes, where?

• Orientation (facility and unit) :
• NEO
• 1-2 days with a preceptor
• Scheduling:
• Weekend rotation: No
• On call: No
• Holiday Expectations: No major holidays (clinic is closed)
• RTO: Okay to approval up to 5 days, unless around holidays. Please submit to NM for approval for holiday/holiday eve RTO.
• Shift times: M-F 8-430
