Construction Project Manager ( Water/Wastewater and Pump Station Construction projects )

Full-Time Permanent role

Job Overview:

The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including managing project teams, subcontractors, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion. This role involves planning, supervision, reporting, contract negotiation, and risk assessment while maintaining strong communication with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of construction management, safety standards, and regulatory compliance to effectively lead multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in meetings with clients, engineers, architects, inspectors, superintendents, vendors, and construction teams to align on project goals and progress.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on project performance, providing clear status updates and identifying potential challenges or risks.
• Collaborate closely with design and field teams to develop and execute detailed construction strategies that align with project objectives.
• Determine project requirements, including labor, materials, schedules, and budgets, and manage subcontractor and vendor negotiations to ensure on-budget delivery.
• Prepare analytical reports and project documentation for stakeholders while proactively managing timelines and addressing any delays or issues.
• Enforce compliance with all safety protocols, building codes, and government regulations throughout project execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership experience in Water/Wastewater and Pump Station Construction projects.
• Strong command of construction methodologies, materials, equipment, and project management principles.
• Exceptional leadership, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to solve complex problems effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
