Copywriter

 

You’re starting your career and already showing a knack for blending brand narrative with innovative storytelling, and creating compelling messages that’ll move people and move the needle. You get how copy impacts business—that crafting the right story and message is at the core of the best companies and brands. 

 

Vivint is where you come to do your best work and actually get to see its impact. In the role of Copywriter, you must possess strong communication skills and be comfortable at the table no matter who’s in the room. We need innovative creative that produces results.

Our In-House team is responsible for the creative for all Vivint marketing and the consumer-facing Vivint brand. This includes developing creative covering everything from broad, integrated campaigns to individual production jobs. Vivint’s marketing efforts span a wide range including: brand, influencer, social media, digital and lead-gen, website UX and CRO, customer marketing, HR & recruiting, corporate/internal communications, and more. Our Creatives are strategic partners in all of these efforts. They are also responsible for defining and implementing Vivint’s brand expression.

 

A Copywriter….

• Is passionate about the written word. Inside and outside of work.
• Consistently produce clean, grammatically correct copy. It’s a given.
• Delivers headlines that demand attention.
• Writes compelling body copy that pulls a reader through the story.
• Thinks conceptually.
• Easily meets deadlines.
• Consistently over delivers.
  
   

A Copywriter Can…

• Write Video Scripts, Social Copy, Digital Ads, Web Copy, Landing Pages, Print Ads, and Brand Messaging
• Collaborate with art directors, designers and other visual creatives.
• Present their work articulately and confidently.
  
   

Preferred Skills, Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in Advertising or Creative Writing
