Copywriter

About the Job:

We are seeking a Copywriter with a passion for conservative politics to develop copy for its direct mail fundraising programs for nonprofit organizations, issue-advocacy organizations, PACs, and candidate clients. We work directly with some of the most high-profile organizations and candidates across the country. • Passionate about conservative politics, with a strong knowledge of political trends and conservative ideology.
• A strong writer, able to capture the client's voice in a way that connects with donors.

• Creative and adaptable, capable of testing and refining copy that resonates with donors and drives results.
• Analytically driven, skilled in research and using data to inform decisions and ensure accuracy.
• Collaborative, leading and working with account teams to achieve client goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research client organizations and campaigns and develop/maintain knowledge of clients' positions and strategies
• Write fundraising packages for politically-oriented issue-advocacy organizations, candidates, and PACs
• Build mail plans and meet rigorous deadlines while leading internal account teams
• Work directly with clients to build and grow programs that meet their fundraising goals

Qualifications:

• Passion for conservative politics and causes
• BA/BS degree
• 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing, fundraising, or creative writing
• Political experience is a plus!
