Compensation: Antioch University offers a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes both direct and indirect pay. The compensation will be based on experience, education, knowledge, credentials, and a consideration of the difficulty and complexity of the position. The minimum salary for this position based on residential location, is: $71,555.00

The Graduate School of Counseling, Psychology, and Therapy at Antioch University invites applications for a full-time Core Faculty position in our APA-accredited doctoral (Psy.D.) program in Clinical Psychology at the Seattle campus. The mission of our Psy.D. program, founded in 2004, is to educate students to become informed, effective practitioner-scholars and change agents in a diverse world with a strong emphasis on social justice. Core faculty participate fully in the academic and governance functions of the program, the school, and the university. Key responsibilities include 24 quarter units of direct instruction per year in addition to other duties; mentoring students (including dissertation, clinical supervision, and academic advisement); participating actively in program, school, and university-wide committees and functions; maintaining a program of scholarship, professional and community service. Ideal candidates will complement and build on existing strengths within the program. Currently, specific courses we are recruiting for are the following:

Qualifications :

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D) from a regionally accredited institution. Graduates from APA-accredited doctoral programs with APA-accredited internships are preferred.
  • Licensed or licensable in Washington State as a clinical psychologist with a minimum of two years post-licensure experience.
  • At least one published article in a peer reviewed journal and any combination of book chapters, books, or presentations at professional academic conferences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialty knowledge in personality theory, group therapy, adult development, interventions, professional issues, integrated assessment, qualitative methods
  • Experience teaching at the graduate university level and have an active clinical practice.
  • A proven history of active participation in teaching, clinical practice, supervision, and research.
  • Evidence of an active research program, innovative clinical interventions, or engagement with public policy.
