Description We are a patient-centered dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a friendly and detail oriented environment. We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and personable permanent Dental Receptionist to join our team and serve as the face of our office. Position Summary: As the Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing front office operations, providing excellent customer service to our patients, and supporting the clinical team with administrative duties. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
+ Previous experience in a dental or medical front office preferred
+ Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance verification is a plus
+ Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, procedures, and billing Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software
+ Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
+ Collect co-pays and process payments accurately at check-in and check-out
+ Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
+ Ensure front desk and waiting area are clean, organized, and welcoming Communicate effectively with dental staff to coordinate patient flow and treatment plans
+ Handle administrative tasks such as scanning, faxing, and filing documents
+ Follow up with patients for treatment reminders, recalls, and outstanding balances
