ABOUT THIS DIESEL AUTO MECHANIC JOB
This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule. Flexibility for occasional overtime may be required based on business needs and workload.
As a Diesel Auto Mechanic, you will be assessing and performing routine and preventative maintenance on our fleet of semi-trucks. This will involve diagnosing issues, repairing diesel-powered vehicles, and ensuring all tasks are documented thoroughly. Throughout your tasks, you will manage your inventory of tools and parts, keeping everything organized and in top condition. You will collaborate with other technicians, sharing your expertise to help them grow and ensuring that all preventive maintenance procedures are executed. In addition, you'll maintain safety standards, clean and organize the shop, and stay updated with the latest industry knowledge through ongoing training. Your role will also include using company vehicles as needed and addressing any other duties assigned by management.
