In a fun, and spirited commercial kitchen setting, you will perform duties on a busy dish line ensuring safe and sanitary working conditions are implemented. Must also be willing to roll up the sleeves and pitch in where needed including assisting in kitchen prep, dry stock, and sanitation.

This is a great foot-in-the-door opportunity with plenty of room for growth for individuals with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency. Must bring a smile and enjoy working in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment using industrial dishwasher or by hand as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dishwashing area, kitchen, and equipment.
• Remove trash and recyclables and maintain cleanliness of kitchen garbage containers.
• Assist with basic food prep and kitchen duties as directed by the culinary team.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Help maintain organization and restocking of kitchen supplies and storage areas.
• Work cooperatively with team members to ensure efficient meal service and kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [30-50 lbs depending on the facility].
• A positive attitude and willingness to support the team.
• Genuine respect and compassion for seniors.
