PRINCIPAL FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School, located in the beautiful city of Lake Havasu, Arizona, invites faith-driven leaders with a passion for Catholic education to apply for the position of Principal. Mission Statement:
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School exists to provide an excellent Catholic education to the Lake Havasu community. In keeping with our Christian heritage, we aim to develop confident, caring, responsible, faith-filled citizens who appreciate and respect all of God's creation.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and devoted principal who will uphold our traditions while embracing the challenges and excitement of leading our esteemed institution. The ideal candidate will be a beacon of enthusiasm, ready to collaborate with parents, teachers, and the parish community to educate the whole child and guide students to discover the presence of God in all aspects of their lives.
Qualifications:
- Active, practicing, faith-filled Catholic
- Master's degree in educational administration or a related field
- State certification as a principal in Arizona
- Proven leadership experience in a Catholic school setting
- Proficient in academic and catechetical curriculum, special education, -English language learning, technology, and innovative instructional methods
- Strong knowledge of school finance and operations
- Excellent communication and collaborative decision-making skills
- Ability to connect effectively with children, parents, teachers, and the community
- Commitment to nurturing the spiritual formation of students, faculty, and parents
Responsibilities:
- Lead the school in its mission to provide a high-quality Catholic education
- Collaborate with the Pastor, Catholic Schools Office, parish staff, and the school advisory board
- Drive academic excellence with a forward-looking vision for 21st-century education
- Foster a loving, nurturing environment that supports student creativity in academics and the arts
Salary and Benefits:
-Salary is negotiable based on experience, education, and credentials. -Benefits include employee health insurance, retirement, sick leave, short-term disability, and social security.
