Job Description

Newton Park, Inc in Lakeville, IN is looking for one event staff to join our team. We are located on 801 N. Michigan St.. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, reliable, and flexible. Ideally the candidate would be available for evening and/or weekend shifts. Our shifts are dependent upon scheduled events and we are willing to work with your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and make them feel welcome
• Answer any questions visitors may have and provide suggestions as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for colleagues and visitors
• Assist in field preparations--raking baseball fields, moving bases and/or goals, laying diamond dry, etc.
• Handle ticket booth operations
• Respond to all complaints in a friendly and professional manner

Additional expectations may include maintaining trash bins and/or litter, ensuring bathrooms are cleaned, & willingness to do additional tasks outside of event staff duties.

Qualifications

• Friendly attitude even when dealing with disgruntled colleagues and clientele
• Highly adaptable to various situations and visitor needs
• Ability to problem solve quickly and find effective solutions to issues that arise
• Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
