Job Title: Experienced Broker Trader
Location: Chicago, IL
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Experienced Energy Broker Trader to join our team to increase our presence in commodities option trading. The ideal candidate will have experience making options markets for brokers and banks in commodities space and have existing understanding of the broker / paper flow in the space.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and grow relationships with trading counterparties
- Proactively manage the desk’s position to ensure the portfolio falls within assigned risk limits
- Monitor trading algorithms and provide feedback to researchers and developers on areas of improvement
- Devise new, innovative ways to tune trading parameters to increase desk profitability
Qualifications:
- Experienced broker trader with 2-5 years of experience with proven track record of success at a trading firm is a must
- Capable of accurately and expeditiously pricing options under demanding market conditions
- Comfortable in confidently making fast decisions in high pressure environments
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Able to take on many responsibilities quickly with a high degree of operational excellence
