Job Description



Eataly is seeking a Finance Intern for Summer 2025 to work with and learn from Eataly’s Finance Team. This internship is a unique opportunity for hands-on, professional experience with a fun and dynamic team. Get a taste of what life is like as an Eatalian! 

Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the intern will: 

  • Support the FP&A team in improving operating expense controlling by analyzing costs and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to collect invoices, assess charge allocations, and drive accurate month-end accruals.
  • Assist in financial analysis to inform decisions on existing store performance and new store openings.
  • Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities across various expense categories.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to track expense trends, accruals, and key financial metrics.
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects and provide insights for leadership presentations.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

This internship runs from June – August. The internship is onsite at Eataly’s corporate offices in Manhattan, NY. The intern will be scheduled per week, Monday – Thursday from approximately 9 am – 6 pm. Internships at Eataly are paid an hourly rate. Housing and transportation costs are the responsibility of the intern. 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with financial modeling.
  • Basic knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, and accrual accounting principles.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with various teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

The compensation for this role is $16.50 per hour
