**Job Title: Forklift/Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The role involves operating machinery such as band saws and forklifts, specifically in the aerospace sector. This position promises job stability and opportunities for career advancement. **Responsibilities** + Operate band saws to cut steel materials accurately. + Utilize sit-down forklifts for material handling. + Read and interpret tape measures for precise measurements. + Perform visual quality control checks on materials. + Apply metal to customer orders and process materials according to work order specifications. + Maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition. + Ensure the processing area is clean, safe, and orderly. + Accurately complete all required information entries. + Perform additional tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Previous experience using a band saw for cutting steel. + Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift. + Ability to read a tape measure accurately. + Experience in visual quality control. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in metal fabrication and aerospace industries. + Strong attendance and work history with a focus on tenure. + Attention to detail and ability to work on your feet. + Comfortable working in a warehouse environment. + Good with paperwork and maintaining chain of custody. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that offers a stable career path within the aerospace industry. Join a fast-paced environment with over 60 employees on the floor. Shift options include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with competitive pay rates and shift differentials. The facility is located in Auburn, WA, with specific buildings for operations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $24.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
