Government Contracts Associate

Full Time


Our client, a prestigious national law firm, is seeking a highly qualified Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its Government and Regulatory Practice Group in New York.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in construction law and/or government contracts and regulatory matters.
Experience with heavy civil construction disputes and local, state, or federal government contract issues is highly desirable.


Candidates with a background in complex litigation, corporate transactions, or governmental law at a leading law firm will also be considered.
This team advises public and private sector clients on complex legal and policy issues involving government contracts, construction disputes, municipal and public law, and regulatory compliance.
Matters often span multiple industries, including transportation, environmental services, healthcare, and real estate.
The practice frequently involves appearances before courts, administrative agencies, dispute review boards, and local governing bodies.


Ideal Candidate: Candidates must have only 3 to 6 years of experience. Strong academics and big law or similar experience
Qualifications:
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience at a top law firm or government agency
  • Background in construction law, government contracts, regulatory matters, or related areas
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Superior research, writing, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and with sound judgment
  • Admission to the New York Bar in good standing
