Overview

Fusion Academy Heads of School are innovative and inspiring leaders who exhibit a growth mindset and our companys core values. The Head of School is responsible for the operational, academic, enrollment growth, and fiscal health of the campus.

Responsibilities

• Culture, Vision & Leadership: build a strong, cohesive team that embodies Fusion Academy values; paint a compelling vision for the team; foster a joyful, mission-driven culture; apply creative problem solving; maintain high campus team retention.
• Enrollment & Fiscal Growth: exceed top-line and bottom-line targets; manage campus labor costs and staffing; build enrollment through community outreach; drive lead-to-enrollment conversion; execute a solid local marketing plan; manage relationships with local institutions; participate in marketing events and establish partnerships with local businesses, educators, and specialists; maintain world-class customer service and campus programs.
• Operations & Administration: ensure solid administrative practices and policies; communicate with parents, students, and staff for feedback; manage student-related issues in alignment with policies and values.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in education, business, or relevant field. Masters or higher preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of demonstrated successful school leadership experience (preferably middle & high school) with respect for teaching and learning.
• Excitement for alternative or non-traditional education systems; experience interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
• Business growth experience through enrollment growth or other business development; experience managing a budget and financial reporting; track record of career progression and increased responsibilities.
• Passion for delivering mastery-based education to students with learning differences, including social and emotional differences; strong culture-building and inspirational leadership skills.

Management & Leadership

• Experience in managerial roles within an educational setting; ability to recruit, lead, and develop professional staff; provide professional development and mentoring; foster a collaborative, agile workplace culture; drive Fusions values; take ownership of achieving metrics.

Personal Traits

• Passion for serving students; strong customer focus and persuasive communication; ability to quickly build relationships; comfortable with difficult conversations; high energy, tenacity, and excellent time management; highly organized.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary is competitive; performance bonuses based on KPI performance.
• Five weeks PTO (three prescribed weeks plus 10 days).
