Title: Director of Technology / Head of Product Engineering
Location: Onsite – Irvine, CA
Overview:
We’re partnering with a growing technology company that is investing heavily in its product and platform development. They’re seeking a senior technology leader to oversee engineering execution, guide product innovation, and scale internal systems to support growth. This is a high-impact role that reports directly to the CTO and works cross-functionally across the business.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage teams, drive strategy, and execute effectively across product, infrastructure, and application development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of internal and external developers.
Oversee the design and delivery of new and existing software applications—ranging from customer-facing tools to internal operational systems.
Partner closely with the CTO to define and implement infrastructure and security best practices (cloud-based, Azure environment).
Evaluate and optimize internal platforms, including CRM, ERP, and reporting tools.
Prioritize and assess incoming technology requests from internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals.
Contribute to ongoing data initiatives, including reporting automation and data warehouse development.
Champion a strong engineering culture and scalable development processes.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership roles.
Proven success managing high-performing dev teams and delivering complex applications.
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture (Azure preferred), infrastructure, and system security.
Experience working with or leading the evaluation of CRM, ERP, and custom platforms.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership and execution.
Strong cross-functional communication skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
