**Job Description: Health, Environmental, and Safety (HSE) Intern** **Pay Rate: $30/hr** **Position Overview:** The Health, Environmental, and Safety (HSE) Intern will support the HSE team in ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies. This role offers hands-on experience in various aspects of HSE management, including risk assessments, safety audits, training, and environmental sustainability initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** + **EHS Compliance:** + Assist the EHS team in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations + Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation + **Safety Audits and Inspections:** + Participate in safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards + Aid in the development and implementation of corrective actions to mitigate risks + **Risk Assessments:** + Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses + Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies + **Training and Education:** + Support the development and delivery of EHS training programs for employees + Maintain training records and track compliance + **Incident Investigation:** + Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses + Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence + **Documentation and Record Keeping:** + Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS documentation and records + Track hazardous waste manifests and prepare EHS reports and presentations + **Continuous Improvement:** + Participate in continuous improvement projects related to EHS processes and programs + Manage chemical inventory and provide suggestions for enhancing EHS performance and culture + Support safety raffles and incentives **Qualifications:** + Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field + Strong interest in EHS and a desire to learn and grow in the field + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Mail + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Attention to detail and strong organizational skills As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
