Position: HVAC Apprentice

JOB PURPOSE: As part of the Energy 1 team, the HVAC Apprentice will help to install heating and cooling systems for high-end custom residential and commercial clients. Duties And Responsibilities: - Report to the HVAC Manager and serve as a critical member of the construction team.
- Perform skilled HVAC installation in construction of client heating, ventilation, air conditioning & refrigeration systems, and related equipment & facilities.
- Read plans, communicate with the construction team, and perform other related duties.
- Apply standard/best practices of the HVAC and Refrigeration trade.
- Apply building codes, ordinances, and regulations of State and Local authorities pertaining to HVAC, refrigeration, and boilers.

Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS: - HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
- Possess manual and electrical tools and equipment applicable to the HVAC and refrigeration trade or be willing to acquire within 6 months.

Preferred: E.P.A. Refrigerant Certifications Type I, II, III or Universal.

Preferred: Experience with boilers, heat-pumps, snowmelt, controls, etc.

Preferred: Geothermal Heating Systems experience.
Physical Requirements: - Regularly required to: talk and hear, sit and stand, move, use hands to operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Able to frequently lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds.
Working Conditions: - Work in all conditions.
- Travel to multiple E1 sites as needed.
- Located in Jackson WY, with responsibilities for additional locations.
- May be requested to work overtime and weekends.
