Job Description

Cianbro is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated intern to support our design team. This role will primarily focus on scanning, documenting, organizing, and digitally archiving engineering documents and project files. The ideal candidate will work closely with the team to ensure that valuable technical information is preserved and transitioned effectively into our digital storage systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and organize hard copy engineering documents, drawings, and project files.
• Scan and convert physical documents into digital format using the provided equipment.
• Accurately name, tag, and categorize files per company standards.
• Communicate regularly with the engineer and project team to verify document contents and project history.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle historical data with care.
• Perform general office tasks related to the archiving process.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and ask clarifying questions as needed.
• Comfortable with document scanning software and Microsoft Office tools.
