ESE Consultants, Inc (ESE) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Toll Brothers, Inc. (TBI). ESE supports TBI’s residential, commercial, apartment and city living teams with in-house surveying, planning, engineering and environmental consulting services from 19 offices covering New England to Seattle, Washington.

ESE Consultants , a Toll Brothers company, seeks a Land Surveyor for our operations in the Kirkland, Washington area. 

We are a full-service land surveying and engineering company that conducts site improvement stakeouts, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and ALTA/ACSM surveys for residential and mixed-use developments.

What is the opportunity?

The Land Surveyor position is the bridge between field and office staff. The Land Surveyor will perform checks and verification of plan and field data, comps for field crews and production of cutsheets. Primary responsibilities include Communication with Field and office staff, other departments (engineering/ Planning) clients and management.

What are the primary responsibilities?

• Prepare Houseline stakeout files
• Process field data
• Support survey crews
• Prepare Land Development stakeout files
• Scheduling of field crews
• Assist in proposal preparation (takeoffs/ time estimates)
• Prepare survey worksheets for ALTA /Boundaries
• Mentoring/ Training
• Prepare commercial stakeout files
• Ability to trouble shoot / perform minor design modifications

• Ability to stay up to date with the ever-changing survey technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced CAD Knowledge
• Ability to read and understand engineering plans
• Advanced Field experience

Do you have these ?

• SIT or CST level IV or 5+ years of industry experience
• AutoCAD/Carlson software knowledge required
• Field Surveyor Experience

The salary for this position is $32.94-$42.82 per hour.
