We are seeking a Professional Land Surveyor. In an ever-evolving landscape defined by rapid urbanization and technological advancements, the expertise of a Professional Land Surveyor remains indispensable. **Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct surveys to determine property boundaries.
+ Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports of surveys.
+ Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
+ Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as GPS equipment, theodolites, and total stations.
+ Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to deliver accurate land assessments.
+ Research legal records, survey records, and land titles to understand the context of a land area.
+ Supervise and manage field staff to ensure survey accuracy and efficiency.
+ Prepare and present reports on survey results to clients and stakeholders.
+ Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to land surveys.
+ Advise on land development and construction projects based on survey results.
**Qualifications:**
+ Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure.
+ Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or related field.
+ Proficiency in modern surveying technology and software.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
+ Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) software.
+ Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
+ Strong knowledge of local and federal surveying laws and regulations.
+ A degree or certification in land surveying or a related field.
+ Several years of experience in land surveying.
+ Understanding of surveying principles and practices.
+ Proficiency with surveying equipment and software.
+ Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
+ Strong organizational and project management skills.
+ Ability to interpret and analyze complex data and legal documents.
+ Good physical fitness to perform fieldwork.
+ Valid driver's license
