This hybrid role is an excellent opportunity for a professional who has a solid background in legal billing and collections, and is adept at using various billing systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and streamlining our legal billing process. This includes, but is not limited to, preparing invoices, managing client accounts, and ensuring timely collections. The role demands a high level of precision, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Job Details Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of the legal billing process, including the preparation, review, and submission of invoices.
2. Utilize billing systems such as LEDES, TyMetrix, bottomline, and legal exchange to handle complex billing tasks.
3. Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to ensure accurate and timely billing.
4. Resolve any billing discrepancies or issues promptly and professionally.
5. Maintain up-to-date billing systems and customer files.
6. Coordinate with the collections team to monitor client accounts and ensure timely collections.
7. Generate financial reports and statements for management review.
8. Comply with all legal and company policies and procedures regarding billing and collections.
9. Assist in improving billing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal billing role.
2. Proficient in using billing software such as LEDES, TyMetrix, bottomline, and legal exchange.
3. Demonstrable experience in billing, collections, and account management in a legal setting.
4. Strong knowledge of legal billing procedures and regulations.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
9. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
10. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
