Job Description

We are seeking a data-driven Legal Operations Manager to oversee and optimize critical functions within the firm, including our Senior Production Team, Medical Management, and Reduction Departments. This role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who leverages real-time data and performance insights to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and drive measurable improvements in outcomes.

The Legal Operations Manager will be instrumental in bridging legal workflows with business operations, ensuring alignment with the firm’s goals, client service standards, and overall mission.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Analyze legal and operational performance metrics to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities.

  • Implement KPI-driven coaching to enhance productivity across teams.

  • Translate insights into actionable strategies that improve efficiency and profitability.

Operational Leadership & Team Management

  • Provide oversight of the Senior Production Team, Medical Management, and Reduction Departments.

  • Deliver hands-on leadership, coaching, and direct intervention to address performance issues.

  • Develop tailored action plans for staff to achieve efficiency and meet firm-wide standards.

  • Ensure processes reflect client service excellence and compliance with the firm’s mission.

Performance Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify bottlenecks in case management workflows and apply data-backed solutions.

  • Establish accountability through real-time KPI monitoring and reporting.

  • Drive proactive adjustments to improve output, reduce errors, and eliminate inefficiencies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with leadership, attorneys, and unit managers to align departmental goals with firm strategy.

  • Lead initiatives that enhance client experience, reduce cycle times, and strengthen profitability.

Execution & Results

  • Serve as an active operator, not a passive overseer—analyze problems, roll up your sleeves, and drive execution.

  • Success will be measured by tangible outcomes: efficiency gains, cost savings, and improved performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in operations management, legal operations, or performance-driven leadership roles.

  • Experience managing large teams (50+ indirect reports and 5+ direct reports).

  • Demonstrated success in implementing data-driven process improvements in high-volume environments.

  • Strong knowledge of KPI management, business intelligence, and performance optimization tools.

  • Proven ability to coach, manage, and lead diverse teams.

  • Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency preferred .
