Job Description

The RV Park Maintenance and Grounds Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of park grounds, facilities, and infrastructure. This position ensures the park remains clean, safe, and functional for guests while leading and working alongside your team. You will work with the property GM to plan projects and troubleshoot.

Requirements

  • Supervise and lead the maintenance and groundskeeping team, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and maintenance requests promptly.
  • Previous experience in RV park, campground, or facility maintenance.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
  • Ability to operate lawn care and maintenance equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and tractors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with local regulations.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping duties.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of park facilities, including restrooms, showers, rental units, and common areas.
  • Conduct routine inspections of park infrastructure and address any necessary repairs.
  • Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles used for park maintenance.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of water, sewer, and electrical systems throughout the park.
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of public spaces, roads, picnic areas, and recreational facilities.
  • Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with environmental and park regulations.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies for maintenance and repair projects.
  • Assist in emergency response situations, including weather-related damages or urgent facility repairs
