Job Description
Job Title: Material Handler
Job Summary: The material handler is responsible for transporting materials , parts, and finished products within the facility using forklift or a pallet jack. This role plays a key part in maintaining the efficient flow of materials across production, warehouse, and shipping areas. The ideal candidate ensures timely deliveries , accurate inventory movement , and strict adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
· Transport raw materials , components, and finished goods between designated areas within the facility to working productions lines.
· Follow specific material routes and schedules to maintain consistent inventory flow.
· Receive , inspect, and store raw materials and finished goods according to company standards.
· Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production or shipping departments as required.
· Perform routine inventory cycle counts and assist with full physical inventories as needed.
· Label, organize, and maintain storage areas to ensure efficient and accurate material handling.
· Assist in loading and unloading shipments for inbound and outbound freight.
· Support maintenance and other departments with material transport or additional errands as assigned.
· Follow all company safety procedures, wear required PPE, and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED preferred.
· Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling MUST.
· Ability to operate forklifts and other similar industrial vehicles safely.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills .
· Ability to follow instructions , work independently , and contribute to a team environment.
