We are seeking a part-time director who has a solid background in choral singing and conducting skills. This candidate should have a strong Christian faith, and the ability to lead the choir and congregation in worship on Sunday mornings. This director will also be responsible for selecting the choral music, as well as congregational hymns that enhance the liturgical scriptures used in the sermon.
This director will also be responsible for selecting music and rehearsing with the handbell choir that meets for 45 minutes to an hour once a week. Our handbell choir plays for worship services once or twice a month. This director will also be required to prepare music for special services such as Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and Christmas Eve.
