Nurse Practitioner Womens Health
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team providing comprehensive womens reproductive health care. The patient population includes women presenting for wellness visits, contraceptive counseling, and treatment of vaginal conditions and bleeding issues, with ages ranging from adolescents to post-menopausal women. Minor office procedures are also performed. Nurse Practitioners enjoy strong clinical support from physicians, and special interests may be developed over time. Candidates with at least one year of experience as a nurse practitioner are preferred, but applications from new graduates are welcomed.
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.
Prescribe necessary medications and treatments.
Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
Qualifications
Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.
Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse.
Eligible for DEA and CDS.
2+ years experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred (new graduates considered).
Nurse Practitioner license in Maryland preferred.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland preferred.
Authorized to work and practice in the United States.
