On-Call Nanny/Sitter – Flexible Schedule | $13.50+ Based on Performance

Pay: (Performance Based Pay)

• Base pay starting at $13.50/hour
• Performance-based raises at 30, 60, and 90 days based on meeting performance expectations, reliability, and schedule commitment
• W-2 employee status

Job Summary:
Jovie of Boise is hiring  on-call nannies and sitters to support families with consistent, high-quality childcare. We’re looking for caregivers who are dependable, engaging, and committed to showing up for the days they’re available. This is a great opportunity to make a difference while working on your own schedule. Schedule:

• Flexible shifts between 6:00 AM–Midnight , Monday through Sunday, 4 to 9 hours in length.
• Must be available at least 15+ hours per week
• Weekday and every other weekend availability required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, attentive care in children’s homes
• Create engaging activities that promote development and fun
• Communicate clearly and professionally with families and our team
• Follow household routines and care instructions
• Maintain punctuality and show up reliably for scheduled shifts

Performance Expectations:

• Consistently accept assignments that you have listed availability in our Scheduler
• Show up on time and complete all scheduled shifts
• Demonstrate professionalism in every family interaction
• Meet performance goals at 30, 60, and 90 days for pay increases

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in childcare (nanny, babysitter, daycare, etc.)
• Must be 18+with a high school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check
• 2–3 professional child care references (non-family)
• Comfortable working in homes with  pets
