A client of LaSalle Network is looking for a Procurement Analyst . This is a highly tactical role designed for a self-motivated, proactive individual who can work independently while supporting a remote Steel Manager. The position requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on, able to manage the day-to-day procurement and analysis needs with a deep understanding of the steel industry.

Procurement Analyst Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Steel Manager at HQ
• Supporting company objectives as relevant to the role of a Procurement Analyst
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective contracts
• Manage purchase orders, invoices, and vendor agreements
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of goods and services

Procurement Analyst Requirements:

• 2+ years in a professional procurement environment with a solid understanding of steel
• Market research and analysis for cost assessments, risk management, and market insights
• Resourcefulness in seeking out information for decision-making
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, both internally and externally
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications – Excel (VLookUps / Pivot Tables), Word, PowerPoint; Oracle experience is a plus
