Job Description

Our pharmaceutical manufacturing (CDMO) client is expanding its team.  We are seeking Quality Control Environmental Monitoring professionals who are open to contract and contract to hire opportunities.  This requires fulltime onsite at our facility in the greater Philadelphia areas.

Responsibilites:

• Conduct viable and non-viable monitoring (air, surface, personnel, particulate) in clean rooms.
• Verify batch records for aseptic manufacturing accuracy and compliance.
• Perform Growth Promotion testing and direct Sterile Media Fill Trials.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization.
• Assist daily QC operations and author/revise SOPs.
• Respond to Out of Specification (OOS) results promptly.
• Communicate with Manufacturing, QA, and Facilities departments.
• Utilize analytical equipment to ensure product quality.
• Complete Manufacturing Investigation Reports (MIRs) to identify and prevent issues.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Database, Project Management, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
• Knowledge of cGMP and industry standards.
• Experience in biologics or pharmaceutical QC roles.
• Familiarity with aseptic processing and mammalian cell culture.
• Proficient with basic lab equipment (microscopes, pH meters, incubators).
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work occasional off shifts and weekends.
