Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Post Closer with superb real estate and administrative skills. Post Closers are expected to work well under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

To ensure success, Post Closers should be proficient at multi-tasking, intuitive and excellent communicators with a keen interest in providing accurate and insightful support to the the real estate team including paralegals and attorneys. Top candidates will have experience as a post-closer in a real estate settlement firm or title company, fantastic organizational skills, great IT skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and record closing documents after a real estate closing with the local Clerk's office either online or for courier pickup
• Prepare closing documents for overnighting and mailing to the lender and appropriate parties
• Prepare wires for the accounting department
• Work with Paralegals to ensure that title requirements have been satisfied
• Prepare checks for disbursement to the appropriate parties 
• General administrative duties ie. answering correspondence and taking telephone calls as needed

Legal Assistant Requirements:

• Two years of post-closing experience, or
• Two years of experience working in a real estate settlement environment
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ProForm and Greenfolders a plus
