We are seeking to add a Refrigeration Engineer to our team! This position is responsible for the service and repair of heat exchangers, inspecting and calibrating ammonia equipment, and keeping records of preventative maintenance. 

$115,000 yearly

• Service and repair plate and frame heat exchangers.
• Utilizing tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges to test, evaluate, and maintain equipment efficiency.
• Inspecting and calibrating ammonia equipment.
• Keeping a record of accurate preventive maintenance on tools and machinery.
• Sharpen decision-making skills to rapidly and precisely interpret and assign information.
• Vigilantly preserve a clean workspace to observe company performance standards.
• Be willing to work overtime to meet deadlines or answer urgent matters.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and company rules.
• Staying apprised of the most up-to-date refrigeration technology to evaluate its potential for current and future tasks.
• This position is safety sensitive. 

• Proven experience in ammonia-based refrigeration systems, or experience with Freon systems.
• Strong capabilities to quickly identify and resolve technical issues through the use of problem-solving strategies in an effective and prompt manner.
• Demonstrate excellent technical, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to use required tools efficiently. 
• Consistent and reliable attendance.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• OSHA 10 certification is highly preferred.
