Sales Development Representative

Description:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) position focuses on outbound sales activity and strategy, with an emphasis on lead generation and developing new opportunities to consistently fill the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities include uncovering pain points, challenges, and opportunities, and identifying interested prospects. The SDR will use their understanding of STS’s Managed IT Services, Cloud, & Cybersecurity Solutions to further prospects through the sales process.

The role requires high organization and discipline for researching and prospecting law firms, qualifying leads, and developing qualified opportunities. The SDR will collaborate with sales, sales management, and marketing to secure new clients, work independently and as part of a team, adhere to company values, and participate in industry events and team meetings.

Duties involve prospecting and qualifying, developing leads and opportunities, differentiating STS from competitors, driving a team-centric sales approach, data management and tracking using HubSpot CRM, and participating in weekly business reviews.

Requirements:

Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and good judgment in all interactions.
5+ years of lead generation, prospecting, or business development experience.
Understanding of how technology can solve business problems (detailed technical knowledge not required).
Experience with HubSpot CRM is beneficial.
Experience selling to law firms or the legal community.
Experience selling managed IT services or similar technology services.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, skilled at building relationships, exceptional computer and organizational skills, willingness to be coachable and adaptable, strong desire and ability to move up within business development, high energy and relentless work ethic.
Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods; occasional standing, walking, and stretching.
This is a remote position.
