As a Security Officer - School Patrol Driver in Bradenton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment at an educational location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. This position is primarily a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Maintain a visible presence and help to deter unwanted activity through regular and random patrols within the educational location, including both indoor facilities and surrounding perimeter areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Monitor for and report any irregularities or suspicious activities observed during patrols.
  • Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general information relevant to the location.
  • Support access control measures by observing entry points and challenging unauthorized individuals when necessary.
  • Document and communicate detailed reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities with Allied Universal and/or onsite management as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
